Amanda Mathis

Hello! My name is Amanda. I graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor’s of Music in Education. I was the Assistant Band Director in the Heath City School district from 2007-2015 where I got to work with the 6-12 grade bands. Over the past 5 years I have also had the privilege of teaching private piano and flute lessons, as well as a year of Kindermusik. I have always had a passion for teaching. When I started band in 5th grade, my passion switched from teaching general education to teaching music. I love to see my students learn and grow in not only music, but life. I hope to teach them to love music and have fun with it, just as I do!
